About
I've been a writer my whole life. Sharing the writing took a lot longer.
That started to change when I moved to Austin at 30 and stumbled into a welcoming art community that made vulnerability feel less like a liability. For the first time, sharing felt not only possible, but encouraged. So I started doing just that.
The years since have been the most useful of my life. I’ve learned lots along the way, like the importance of falling in love with the process more than the results, and that the work is more for you than it is for me.
As I continue to learn lessons and develop perspective that I wish the younger me had at the time, I’ll share them here through the “word art” medium - poetry, weekly reflections, published work and a couple bigger projects on the way.
If you're a good person who's quietly trying to figure it all out - this was written for you.
